Create a registration
Purpose
Create a registration in the mobile app.
Background
Via the app, you can easily create a registration when you are out on the construction site.
Things you should be attentive to
- You need permissions to create registrations, contact an administrator if you don't have the necessary permissions.
- To answer registrations - Go to the guide "Change the status of a registration"
- Remember to sync your registrations on a regular basis. Guide: Synchronization.
How to
- Open the app, login and select a list
- Select the icon "Plus"
- Enter the information in the fields, take pictures and place the location on the drawing
- Select the icon "OK" to create the registration
Change the status of a registration
Purpose
Change the status of a registration that you own.
Background
When you need to change the status of a registration, you can easily do it with your app.
Things you should be attentive to
- The registration must be with you before you can change the status of it.
How to
- Open the app and find the list
- Find and click on the registration you want to change status on
- Click "Edit"
- Click on the status field
- Click on the status you want to change to
- Click "Back"
- "Click "OK"
Synchronization
Purpose
Synchronize your registrations from the app to the RIB server.
Background
Once you have made new or changes to registrations, remember to sync them so that they appear on the Capture list for other users to see. You do this manually.
Things you should be attentive to
- If you experience synchronization issues - Follow this guide: App issues.
How to
- Open the app, login and open a list
- If you have unsynchronized registrations on the list, the view will be "Awaiting synchronizations", with the number in red.
- Select the function "Synchronize"
- Select "Yes" by the text box that appears
- Select the icon "OK" when the synchronization is done
Filtering
Purpose
Filter the registrations in a Capture list on the app, to get an overview.
Background
You can filter registrations on the app, to get an overview of eg all registrations that have a specific status.
How to
- Open the app, login and open a list
- Select the icon "Filter"
- Select either a predefined filter or create your own custom by the icon "Plus"
App issues
Purpose
Follow this guide if you experience challenges with the app.
Background
You may experience issues with the app, and if you do, there are a few different things you can do to address the issues.
How to
Step 1 - Clear cache (NOTE! Remember to sync!)
- Open the app and click on the icon "Settings"
- Select the function "Clear cache"
- Close the app down and reopen it
Step 2 - Log out and restart phone / tablet
- Open the app and click on the icon "Settings"
- Select the functions "Log user off"
- Close the app and restart your phone
Step 3 - Delete app and reinstall (NOTE! Remember to sync!)
- Delete the app locally on your mobile device
- Download the app "Docia" from the App Store or the Google Play Store
Step 4 - Report problem (if the challenge continues to arise after steps 1, 2 and 3)
- Open the app and click on the icon "Settings"
- Select the function "Report a problem"
- A log is attached to an e-mail with RIB Support as the receiver. Enter the relevant information about the error and send the message.
