Create a registration list
Purpose
Create a new registration list.
Background
You can create a new registration list once you are logged in.
You can choose between 2-way lists and 3-way lists.
2-way lists are used to send registrations back and forth between two levels - Eg Client/Consultants and Contractors.
3-way lists are used to send registrations back and forth between 3 levels - Eg Client/consultant at the upper level, General Contractor/General Contractor at the middle level and Subcontractors at the lower level.
Things you should be attentive to
- You cannot turn a 2-way list into a 3-way list.
- A registration list cannot be converted into a quality control list. Create a quality control list.
- You can create a new list based on an existing list.
How to
- Log in at www.rib-software.eu.com
- Click on “Applications”
- Choose the application “Capture”
- Click on “Defect Management”
- Click on the small arrow next to “Capture”
- Click on “New”
- Choose if you want to create a 2-way- or a 3-way list
- Choose “By Payment”
- Choose if you want a new capture list, a list based on a template or a list based on another list.
- Fill in the blanks
- Click “Ok”
Create a quality control list
Purpose
Create a new quality control list.
Background
You can create a new quality control list when you are logged in.
Things you should be attentive to
- A quality control list cannot be converted into a registration list.
- You can create a new list based on an existing list.
How to
- Log in at www.rib-software.eu.com
- Click on “Applications”
- Choose the application “Capture”
- Click on “Quality Control”
- Click on the small arrow next to “Capture”
- Click on “New”
- Choose “By Payment”
- Choose if you want a new capture list, a list based on a template or a list based on another list.
- Fill in the blanks
- Click “Ok”
Create a template
Purpose
Create a template for Capture lists.
Background
Templates can be used to create new lists from, so most of the setup can be reused for new lists. Typically, you can use templates for the following two scenarios;
Company-specific template: Fields are created so that all future projects for the company collect the same kind of data.
Project-specific template: Drawings, sections and locations are set up, for uniformity when creating several different types of lists.
Things you should be attentive to
- A template cannot be turned into an active list that you can register on.
- You can create a new list based on an existing list.
How to
- Login to www.rib-software.eu.com
- Go the the tab "Applications"
- Select the icon/menu "Capture"
- Select either "Defect Management" or "Quality Control"
- Select "New" by "Template"
- Select either "Blank template" or "Template based on copy"
- Enter the name of the template
- Select optionally a "Design template" to create a template from
