Create a Vault project

Purpose

RIB Vault offers you the opportunity to get a complete online copy of your company's data from RIB Project.

Background

With RIB Vault you get a complete online copy of your company’s data from RIB project, so you can always recreate documentation and ensure access to data.

It contains all data, including: 

• Drawings, 3D models, descriptions, etc.
• Metadata
• History of all files and actions
• Access to the same user interface as the original project
• You can choose which users and their rights your Vault sequence should be based on 

Things you should be attentive to:

When your request a Vault sequence on a specific project, you get:

• A snapshot of the project, from the date you request the Vault sequence
• After you submit your request, we will calculate a price for you, which will be based on the project's data amount. Prices start from DKK 99 / month. We will contact you by email when your sequence is ready for approval. After that, you have 14 days to accept the price. If you do not agree, your Vault sequence will be automatically deleted. 
• If you choose to accept the price, you agree to a continuous subscription with a monthly payment with the specified price.

How to

Create a Vault sequence directly in RIB Project

1. Log in to www.rib-software.eu.com
2. Open a project
3. Go to the menu "Personal overviews"
4. Click on "Vault orders"
5. Click on the "Order Vault" icon
6. Fill in the required information (Project name, PN number and Vault sequence name) 
7. Click next
8. Select which users and/or project administrators your Vault sequence should be based on
9. Click next
10. Finish your Vault sequence request by clicking "OK"
11. Your Vault sequence is now calculated and you will receive an email when it is ready for confirmation

Create a Vault sequence from the Vault application

1. Log in to www.rib-software.eu.com 
2. Go to the "Applications" tab
3. Click on "Vault"
4. Select "New"
5. Select which specific project the Vault sequence is based on. 
6. Click next.
7. Fill in the required information (Project name, PN no. And Vault sequence name).
8. Click next.
9. Select which users and/or project administrators your Vault sequence should be based on.
10. Click Next.
11. End your Vault sequence request by clicking "OK".
12. Your Vault sequence is now calculated and you will receive an email when it is ready for confirmation
