Purpose

Get started with the Connex Mobile App.

Background

You can use the Connex App to create tasks and navigate through drawings and 3D models.

Things you should be attentive to

• Administrator: Before you can use our Connex App, you must have a project created in Connex. You need to make sure to create a communication channel, invite users and add your 3D model and drawings.
• User: Before you can use our Connex App, you must be attached to a project in Connex. If you need to create tasks, you must also be connected to a communication channel. Contact an administrator if you are missing rights.

How to

Administrator

1. Prepare your Connex Project
   • Make sure you have a project in Connex - Guide: Create a project in Connex
   • If users need to create tasks, create communication channels and add the users - Follow this guide: Communication Channels
   • Upload drawings and a 3D model - Follow this guide: Locations and models
     
2. Download the "Connex Mobile" app in the App Store or Google Play Store.
3. Login with your RIB login.
4. You can now use the app to create tasks and view both drawings and 3D models.

User

1.  Access to Connex Project
   • Make sure you have access to a project in Connex. If you do not have access, contact an administrator.
   • If you need to create tasks, you must have assigned rights in a communication channel. If you do lack rights, contact an administrator.
2. Download the "Connex Mobile" app in App Store or Google Play Store.
3. Login with your RIB login
4. You can now use the app to create tasks and view both drawings and 3D models.
