Extraction of data

Purpose

Extract data from Digital Handover.

Background

An important part of a handover process is to hand over data to operations. There are three recommended types;

• Extraction of operating plan in Excel
  Prepared on the basis of entered recommendations.
• Extraction of reports and attachments
  Data is packed in a .zip file where entered and attached data is structured in a simple folder structure based on trade and components.
• Extraction of .xml
  File linking and structuring entered and attached O&M data for components. .XML is a database file used for import to other systems.

How to

Extraction of operating plan in Excel

1. Log in to the Digital Handover as an Administrator
2. Go to the menu "Preliminary FM plan"
3. Select the XLS export function - wait for the file to be generated and download it locally

Extraction of reports and attachments

1. Log in to the Digital Handover as an Administrator
2. Go to the "Statistics and Reports" menu
3. Select the Print to PDF function
4. In the drop-down menu from View Attached Files, select Collect Files In A Zip File
5. Select the Show report function - wait for the file to be generated and download it locally

Extraction of .xml

1. Log in to the Digital Handover as an Administrator
2. Go to the Statistics and Reports menu
3. Select the Extract to XML function - wait for the file to be generated and download it locally
