Create distribution lists (Step 1)
In the Execution phase of a construction project, the Construction Management should have administrative rights to the Distribution space, which will secure that the administration of the contractor can be achieved without contact to a Project Administrator.
Distribution lists can be compared to the contractors paper organizer on site, where they can find relevant drawings and descriptions of their area of responsibility.
Upon creation, these have to be linked to specific folders in the Publication space, which defines which files can be distributed to the Distribution list.
Tips and tricks
Invite contractor (Step 2)
Invitation of a Contractor to the Distribution space can be administrated by a Construction Manager as long as they have administrator rights of the Distribution space. Should the upload-rights be linked to a Contractor, then contact the Project Administrator.
