What does 'Instances' mean?

In our Digital Handover the word instances refer to where in the building the objecttype occour, and also how many is installed.

An instance can in example be a single door, that is connected to a room, but can also be a number of doors installed on an entire floor or building. The possibilities for creating instances on objects, depends on what level of detail is wanted, from the project owners side.

Types of connectivity can be property, building, floors, rooms, facades and terrain.
