How do I get my activities to generate tasks?

Description: 

You need to setup the generating of tasks from activities before you can make persons and/or teams responsible for activities. 

We recommend that you setup person roles for receiving tasks, which you can read more about here.

Step by step: 

  1. Go to "Planning and executing"
  2. Mark "FM plans"
  3. If the activity exists - Find it and click "Edit". If is doesn't exist, you need to create a new activity by clicking "New activity" and then "Periodic activity"
  4. Set "Generate events automatically" to "Yes" in the drop down menu
  5. Enter the rest of the settings. And select the "Responsible" person. If you select a role, all the users with that role will be responsible. 

NB: The activity will now be generating tasks from the chosen period and other settings.
